Terms of Use

Last updated: August 31, 2026

These terms apply when you use ct.kitchen, create an account, save a product selection, or send us a request through the site. Please read them. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

1. Who these terms are with

This website is operated by Connecticut Kitchen (also shown as CT Kitchen), a kitchen and bath design business serving Connecticut and the surrounding region. In these terms, “we,” “us” and “our” mean Connecticut Kitchen, and “you” means the person using the site.

2. The site is an enquiry tool, not a checkout

We work quote-first. Everything on this site — the catalog, product pages, saved selections and the request forms — exists so you can tell us what you are interested in and so we can prepare a quote. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell on stated terms, and no contract is formed by browsing, by saving a selection, or by submitting a request.

  • Submitting a quote request or booking a consultation starts a conversation. It does not reserve stock, fix a price, or commit either of us to a purchase.
  • A binding agreement exists only once we and you have agreed a written estimate, order or contract for the specific work.
  • We may decline or withdraw any request, and we may correct errors, before that point.

3. Pricing, payment and terms of sale

The site does not display final prices, does not take payment, and does not collect card or bank details. Where the site indicates an approximate price level, it is a general guide to relative cost, not a quotation.

Price, payment methods, deposits, schedules, lead times, delivery, cancellation and any warranty are set out in the estimate, invoice, order or agreement that applies to your project. Those documents govern the transaction; this page governs your use of the website. Where the two differ on anything to do with a purchase, the project document controls.

4. Product information

Product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, finishes and images are supplied by the manufacturers and vendors whose products we carry, and are reproduced here for reference. We work to keep the catalog accurate, but we do not warrant that every listing is complete, current or error-free.

  • On-screen colour and finish depend on your display and will not match a physical sample exactly. Natural materials such as stone and timber vary between pieces by their nature.
  • Availability changes. A product shown here may be discontinued, back-ordered or no longer stocked by the manufacturer.
  • Please confirm anything that matters to your project — dimensions, finish, availability, suitability — with us before ordering. We are happy to check.

5. Accounts

You may create an account to save a product selection and request a quote against it. If you do:

  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date;
  • Keep your password confidential — you are responsible for activity under your account;
  • Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used it; and
  • Create an account only if you are old enough to enter a contract where you live.

You can ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that is being used in breach of these terms.

6. Acceptable use

Please use the site for its purpose — researching products and talking to us about a project. Do not:

  • Scrape, harvest, bulk-download or systematically copy the catalog, whether by hand or by automated means;
  • Attempt to gain access to any part of the site, account, or system you are not authorised to reach, or probe or disrupt its security;
  • Interfere with the site’s operation or place an unreasonable load on it;
  • Upload anything unlawful, infringing, malicious, or containing another person’s personal information without their permission; or
  • Use the site to send unsolicited commercial messages, or to misrepresent who you are.

7. Content you submit

You keep ownership of the photographs, measurements, descriptions and other material you send us. By submitting them you give us permission to use them for the purpose you submitted them — preparing your design, quote and project. We will not use your project photographs publicly without asking you first.

You are responsible for having the right to send us what you send. Please note that photographs uploaded through our design survey are stored without access control, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

8. Our content

The design, text, layout, photography and arrangement of this site belong to us or to our suppliers and are protected by intellectual property law. You may view and print pages for your own use in planning a project. You may not republish, resell or redistribute them, or use our name or logo, without our written permission. Manufacturer names, brand names and product images belong to their respective owners and appear here to identify the products we supply.

9. Links to other sites

Where we link to a manufacturer or other third party, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.

10. Availability of the site

We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, or for loss arising from your reliance on catalog information that you did not confirm with us. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. This section is about the website; anything to do with work we actually carry out for you is governed by your project agreement.

11. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them or from your use of this site are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site or the business changes. The current version always appears on this page with its date at the top, and it applies from the moment it is posted. Please check back from time to time.
