Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

This page lists what ct.kitchen stores on your device, what each item is for, how long it lasts, and how to get rid of it. It is a complete list of what we set ourselves, not a general description.

1. The short version

  • We set a small number of first-party cookies. There are no advertising cookies and no social-media tracking pixels on this site.
  • One third party does run on every page: the chat widget from our CRM provider. Section 4 explains what it loads and what it stores.
  • We do not use Google Analytics or any similar third-party analytics service. Our analytics are our own and stay in our own database.
  • Our server sets no cookies at all — everything below is written by JavaScript running in your browser.
  • We do not sell or share what we collect with advertising networks.

2. Cookies we set

These are stored as browser cookies on the ct.kitchen domain.

vega_visitor_id
A random identifier that lets us count returning visitors and see how the site is used over time. It contains no name or contact details. Lasts 1 year.
vega_session_count
Counts how many separate visits you have made, so we can offer to save your selection after a few visits rather than immediately. Lasts 1 year.
vega_last_session
Records the last visit we counted, so a single visit is not counted twice. Lasts 1 year.
vega_anon_snooze
Set when you dismiss the invitation to save your selection, so we stop asking for a while. Lasts 7 days.
vega_anon_converted
Set once you have created an account, so the invitation is never shown to you again. Lasts 1 year.

The vega_ prefix is an internal naming convention shared across our company’s sites. It is a legacy name, not a sign that another website is reading your data — these cookies are set on this domain and are readable only by this site.

3. Other storage on your device

Cookies are not the only mechanism. We also use your browser’s built-in storage, which behaves similarly and is cleared the same way:

vega_session_id
vega_session_ts
Session storage. Groups the pages you view into a single visit, which ends after 30 minutes of inactivity. Cleared automatically when you close the tab.
vega_viewed_products
Local storage. A list of the products you have opened, used to invite you to create a free account after browsing five of them. Stays until you clear your browser data.
Sign-in session
Local storage. If you sign in, your session is kept here so you stay signed in between pages. This one is essential — without it, an account cannot work. Cleared when you sign out.
v2_history_…
v2_session_history_…
v2_contact_session_…
v3_first_session_event_…
Local storage, written by the chat widget described in section 4. It holds your conversation and the identifier for your chat session, so a reply is not lost when you move between pages. The long suffix on each of these keys is our own account number with the chat provider, not an identifier for you. Stays until you clear your browser data.
i18n.en-us
Session storage, written by the chat widget to hold its interface text. Cleared when you close the tab.

4. Third parties

Three things on this site are loaded from someone else:

  • The chat widget, on every page. The chat bubble in the corner is supplied by our CRM provider, GoHighLevel, and loads its code from leadconnectorhq.com on every page you visit — not only when you open it. It stores the four local-storage items and the one session-storage item listed in section 3 directly in your browser under this site’s address, so a conversation survives moving between pages. If you start a chat, what you type goes to that provider so that it reaches us. That happens under their privacy policy as well as ours.
  • The request form and booking calendar, on our contact page only. Both are served by the same provider inside their own frame, and may set their own cookies there, under their control.
  • Product and project images are delivered from manufacturer and content-delivery networks. Requesting an image tells that network your browser asked for it. We send them no information about you, and they set no cookies we rely on.

Blocking scripts from leadconnectorhq.com — in your browser settings or with an extension — removes the chat widget and everything it stores. The rest of the site is unaffected.

5. Your choices

We do not currently show a cookie banner, so there is no on-site preferences panel to open. Control is through your browser, which can clear or block everything described above:

  • Clear what is already stored. Every major browser has a “Clear browsing data” or “Clear cookies and site data” option. Clearing data for this site removes every item listed on this page. You will be signed out and your saved selection will be re-fetched when you sign in again.
  • Block future storage. Browser settings can block cookies and site data for a specific site or for all sites. Blocking them here is safe — the catalog works normally. You will not be able to stay signed in, so accounts and saved selections will not work.
  • Browse privately. A private or incognito window discards all of it when you close the window.
  • Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Browsers send these signals inconsistently and we do not currently act on them automatically. If you want us to stop associating a device with you, clear this site’s data or email us and we will delete the record.

6. Related policies

What we do with the information these cookies help us collect — including the approximate location our host derives, and the link between a device and a signed-in account — is set out in our Privacy Policy. Your use of the site is covered by our Terms of Use.

7. Changes

If we add, remove or repurpose anything stored on your device, we will update this list and the date above. If we introduce a consent banner, this page will describe it and the choice it offers.
